Realistically, the more problems we have and the larger they are, the greater our value to our employer.” Seeing problems this way can help you turn adversity to opportunity. What problems surround you? Are there a large number of people who share this problem? Can you find a solution to this problem? Would people be willing to pay for your solution? How much would they be willing to pay? Could you charge this much for the solution and still make a reasonable profit? You could have the beginnings of a business on your hands! Problems aren’t that bad after all, are they! Re-examine your problems. The reason they won’t go away might just be they are the opportunities you’ve been praying for! Don’t be like the pessimist who complains about the noise when opportunity knocks. Open the door with a smile on your face! If it’s a problem, you’ll disarm it. If it’s opportunity, you’re ready to embrace it!
