Your spiritual source, your purpose and your passions all comprise the core of your being, from which all other distinctive traits come. So how do you connect with this inner you? By listening to your feelings and thoughts. Many of us get so busy, we suppress our thoughts and feelings, which is suppressing our inner guidance system and our connection with our true inner self. Make a decision to start listening to yourself, and you will start to catch the fleeting thoughts and feelings that guide you every moment of the day. It is also a good idea to set aside time each day to be quiet, still and reflect. Think of it as a date with yourself. The more you know yourself, the more you love yourself, the better your external life will be. Your external life is an expression of your internal relationship with self.
